This work comes from a four-piece series centering around wildlife protection. In this work, Zhu depicts a Manchurian Tiger, which is a nationally protected species in China. He aims to raise the awareness of how human activities can harm the living environment of wild animals as the number of the Manchurian tigers has declined dramatically.

Q:What role do we play?
A:To stand our body and clothes.

Oil on canvas

In this seemingly peaceful work, Zhu manifests his anti-war statement against ISIS. By removing the human bodies, Zhu implies the cruelty of how the war ignores human lives. The work exemplifies how the war turns humans into killing machines and neglects humanity.
